Marching for Fair Wages

On April 22, 2015 National Advocacy Center marched in solidarity with federal contract workers striking for better pay and a union. Under the leadership of Good Jobs Nation, people rallied for President Obama to direct future service contracts to model employers by executive order. The workers also want $15 an hour and a union

Pushing for End to Family Detention

​On May 21, 2015 representatives of various faith traditions met with Melissa Rogers, Special Assistant to the President and Executive Director of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, and other senior White House staff, to strongly urge President Obama to end the detention of immigrant families.
