On September 19, 2019, we celebrated NAC's 18th anniversary and Larry's 80th birthday with poetry, Tae Kwon Do and good company.
If you missed the event, but still wish to acknowledge these auspicious occasions, please do.
In lieu of gifts, please donate to NAC (below). Have fun with the Asian lucky number 8!
Give & Support NAC's Work
The National Advocacy Center is a beacon of hope in challenging times -- focusing on the needs of the marginalized, especially women and girls. NAC extends the direct service work of Good Shepherd sisters and lay partners to include educational efforts and advocacy on justice issues integral to our shared mission.
NAC's primary focus areas are poverty and immigration.
National Advocacy Center is there to witness, educate and act ~
transforming society to benefit all.
Your donation will provide support for our educational work in the cause of social justice. For example, this summer NAC sponsored our second Human Trafficking Conference in Washington DC. At the conference, we provided information on best practices, heard firsthand testimony of survivors, and discussed legislation being considered to end the scourge of human trafficking.
Additionally, NAC provides education regarding the needs of people living in poverty who lack adequate housing, nutrition, and other basic necessities. And through education, we seek to advance the cause of humane immigration reform.
During such vitriolic times, NAC's voice is needed to offer a faith-filled, compassionate explanation for why every person matters and why every person has dignity.
Act for Justice with NAC. Give today. Thank you.
